Thingk look good this morning. Zach and Mark have completed repairs at East Mat and ptoconnor and those stations look good along with Navala. I'm not sure about gregs e-mail, I sent one out last night to tcoon but I dont know if anyone got it. I have installed the offset at ingleside and will turn off bad sensors now. Also I will assign myself a day to go to the office to download any data gaps, probably Monday. I'll try to let ya'll know whats going on.

All Polling systems experiencing problems.

Possible problem with radios as there is no data received from Salt stations, RTNS stations, and Packery stations since 2005335. Scott has resolved the problem.

Freewave @ coe:

The freewave responds normally to keyboard commands, but locks up immediately after connecting with the stations (njetty, rollov, battle). COE computer reset, communications restored.

Batteries dropping across the board, lets get ready. Sunshine at last.

Communications established with Port O'Conner Tower. Unable to connect to any station in the Port O'Conner freewave area.

Lack of sunlight over the last 5-6 days caused many station to stop collecting data. Many batteries have been replaced, sunlight for the next 5-7 days should allow all batteries to recharge.

All Salt stations are having some type of communication problems.

No communications possible using Minicom Freewave on dnr. None of the stations are answering up today. New freewave antenna installed, but not working.

All DCPs show low batteries after the past several days w/o sunlight. Situation should begin to improve today w/forecasted clearing skies.

All NOAA stations are transmitting but no data is being decoded since 2001257+1656. NESDIS problems appear to have been corrected.

All stations recieved solar chargind Sunday 2000324.

NESDIS problems have caused duplicate and time errors in all station DCP reports. No gaps were caused by these messages.

Things are all quiet on the home front! A few data gaps but thats about all. Have a great Labor Day Weekend!.

Missing data in all stations due to NESDIS problems. Recovered on 1997224.

all stations: 1997151 - Data gap.

all SALT and DO stations: 1997127+0430 to 1997127+1300 - No data.

all SALT and DO stations: 1997118+1430-1997119+1330 - No data.

1997115: data gaps because NESDIS went down.

1997028 - Strong cold front blew in early on 1997028 (GMT).

1997001 - NESDIS crash

1996350 - Strong cold front just before noon local time. Strong northerly winds, rapid drop in temperature, rain.

1996329 - Frontal passage ~6am local time, very high winds, rapid drop in temperature.

1996327 - Data gap in all hydrolab data due to a cblui crash.

1996338 - Many stations have a data gap on day 96336 and 96337 due to the cron deamon begin down. Possibly a nesdis adhoc download will fill in most of them. Need to make sure that the LUB stations are in the adhoc download list. Data were recovered.

1996337 - QCs only thru 1996336 due to the cron demon being down.
The cron daemon has been restored via updates to the Redhat 4.0
distribution.
