- Benchmark is a stainless steel rod driven soft to refusal surrounded by a concrete kickblock 6" PVC pipe with metal cap stamped "9770 C 2002". The mark is 0.8 meters east (80 degrees) of a utility pole marked "A 6656", 13.7 meters west (260 degrees) of the centerline of asphalt road leading to tide station.
