Description
TO REACH THE BENCH MARK FROM HWY 358 IN CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, FOLLOW 358 EAST TO ITS END, WHERE IT BECOMES PARK ROAD 22. FOLLOW PARK ROAD 22 OVER THE JFK CAUSEWAY AND TURN EAST AT THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO PADRE BALLI PARK. THE BENCHMARKS ARE LOCATED ALONG THE ROUTE OF THE ENTRANCE ROAD, TURNING SOUTH AT THE SECOND ROAD TO THE RIGHT (LEADING TO THE CAMPING AREA), THEN TURNING EAST AT THE END OF THE ROAD. THE PATH OF THE BENCHMARKS ENDS AT THE OFFSHORE END OF BOB HALL PIER. THE BENCH MARK IS A BRASS DISK SET FLUSH IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE MONUMENT, LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ENTRANCE ROAD TO PADRE BALLI PARK, 30.91M (101.4 FT) WNW OF THE CENTERLINE OF ELLIFF ROAD, 11.31M (37.1 FT) NE OF UTILITY POLE 5, 4.91M (16.1 FT) SSW OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ENTRANCE ROAD, 3.51M (11.5 FT) NORTH OF A WOODEN POLE WITH A METAL PIPE AND SHIELD MARKING THE UNDERGROUND CABLE ROUTE, AND IS IN LINE WITH WOODEN POSTS AND LEVEL WITH THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND.
