TO REACH THE BENCH MARK FROM HWY 358 IN CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, FOLLOW 358 EAST TO ITS END, WHERE IT BECOMES PARK ROAD 22. FOLLOW PARK ROAD 22 OVER THE JFK CAUSEWAY AND TURN EAST AT THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO PADRE BALLI PARK. THE BENCHMARKS ARE LOCATED ALONG THE ROUTE OF THE ENTRANCE ROAD, TURNING SOUTH AT THE SECOND ROAD TO THE RIGHT (LEADING TO THE CAMPING AREA), THEN TURNING EAST AT THE END OF THE ROAD. THE PATH OF THE BENCHMARKS ENDS AT THE OFFSHORE END OF BOB HALL PIER. THE BENCH MARK IS A BRASS DISK SET ATOP A GALVANIZED STEEL ROD DRIVEN 5.80M (19 FT), AND ENCASED IN A 4-INCH PVC PIPE AND CONCRETE KICKBLOCK. THE BENCH MARK IS LOCATED IN THE MEDIAN BETWEEN THE PARK ENTRANCE AND EXIT ROADS, 47.49M (155.8 FT) SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE EXIT ROAD, 16.00M (52.5 FT) NNE OF UTILITY POLE 4, AND 5.61M (18.4 FT) NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ENTRANCE ROAD. NOTE: ROD MAY NOT FIT INSIDE THE PVC PIPE.
