- The benchmark is a brass disk set atop a stainless steel rod driven 51 feet to refusal and encased in a 6 inch pvc pipe without a kickblock. It is located on the spoil island east of the gauge and just south of Yarborough Pass cut approximately 230 m (750 ft) SE of the gauge platform, about 30 m (100 ft) east of the water's edge, flush with the ground and marked with an orange fiberglass witness post.
