Describe WindGeneration here.

Wind is generated by an "imbalance" in air pressure. When there is a difference in air pressure, the air will move and continue to move until air pressure is the same everywhere. Specifically in coastal regions, the sun warms the earth which results in the warm (less dense) air rising. The cooler (more dense) air over the nearby waters rushes toward the land to take the place of the rising warm air. This daily cycle of solar heating and cooling is responsible for the sea breezes that occur along the coast in the late afternoon. This effect is particulary well developed along the central Texas coast making it a prime location for windsurfing and kitesailing. The heating of the air results in a decrease in air pressure and density above the land.
