CMSS 6102: Seminar in Earth Systems Science

Course Description:

This course focuses on developing awareness and research skills necessary for interdisciplinary studies in the sciences. Enrollment is limited to students fully admitted in the Ph.D. program in Coastal and Marine System Science. Students will work alone or in small teams to define, describe, and document the variables in typical multivariate systems. Class assignments will focus on building the students' research skills (i.e. literature searches, proposal writing, writing scientific articles, ...).
