Looking Ahead
- new faster servers will allow us to develop more advanced tools
- better backup systems will allow us to protect valuable historical TCOON data
- since moving most TCOON stations to IP modems, data comes in more reliably and very close to real-time
- increasing size of IT staff will allow us to innovate as well as maintain current systems
- participation in GCOOS allows us to interact with other data collectors on the Gulf Coast, integrate our data, and make it more accessible
Thank You
