Overall Purpose
-
- Provide system administration for computer systems. Maintain existing hardware/software systems and create new ones. Work with faculty and staff to meet their computing needs.
Responsibilities
- Admins Linux-based computer systems. (20%)
- Provides support for Windows-based systems (10%)
- Writes software in C, Perl, PHP, bash, and other languages as needed (40%)
- Provides admin and support for web-based systems (10%)
- Designs hardware/software systems (10%)
- Researches new technologies (5%)
- Writes proposals (5%)
