Overall Purpose

Provide system administration for computer systems. Maintain existing hardware/software systems and create new ones. Work with faculty and staff to meet their computing needs.

Responsibilities

• Admins Linux-based computer systems. (20%)
• Provides support for Windows-based systems (10%)
• Writes software in C, Perl, PHP, bash, and other languages as needed (40%)
• Provides admin and support for web-based systems (10%)
• Designs hardware/software systems (10%)
• Researches new technologies (5%)
• Writes proposals (5%)
