The Division of Nearshore Research (DNR) is part of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
DNR collects near real-time water level, wind speed, salinity, water quality, and other environmental data from stations placed in the bays and estuaries along the Texas coast. Some of the projects are: Texas Coastal Ocean Observation Network (TCOON), Port of Corpus Christi Real-Time Navigation System, Nueces Bay Salinity Monitoring, Oso Creek Dissolved Oxygen, Windinfo, and Contaminants from South Texas Uranium Mines.
