Open DOCX files (Word 2007+) in previous versions of Microsoft Word

If you encounter a Microsoft Word document with the docx extension, you may not be able to open it with Microsoft Office versions (pre-2007). This can be resolved by installing the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack (28MB exe).
