IT Project and Priorities

This information should not be in a wiki page--it should be converted into Agile "cards" or tasks or contained within Mingle or somesuch. But we need a placeholder.

Scott and I discussed present and [desired] future IT projects, listing them and then ranking them by priority. I put a star by the projects I felt were important and Scott numbered them from 1 (highest) to 4 (lowest).

The project list is not exhaustive--I meant to include everything that I could remember as well as whatever "wouldn't-it-be-cool" ideas I remembered. We need James' input.

One whiteboard is not enough:

• Doug Martin's Florida data -> DNR DB
• Doug Martin's tidal datum/gap filling request
• Test USB -> serial setup for new lighthouse/sethos
• Single phone number forwarding to "on-call" person - additional office line? Something else?
• Call Physical Plant, re: grounding server rack
• Gary and Stacey - website update/upgrade
• Fix nwspoll memory leak.
