Reset Your Active Directory Password

You only need to reset your Active Directory password if you are no longer receiving your campus e-mail. Your Active Directory password expires every 3 months or so. You will receive a "Password Expiration Notice" e-mail when this is about to happen.

2. Select the Reset Active Directory (Outlook/Entourage) Password option. Enter your UIN and birth date in the supplied fields.

3. Press the Submit button.
4. If your information is entered correctly, your new password will be displayed. Copy down your username and password. It is case-sensitive, so make sure you know whether each letter is uppercase or lowercase.

Setup/Update Fetchmail

If your want your campus email automatically retrieved into your lighthouse account, follow these instructions:

1. You need to update fetchmail (opens in new window) whenever your password changes. If you are prompted to login, use your squirrelmail/lighthouse username and password. You will then see the following form:

2. If this is your first time setting it up, you will need to enter your Active Directory username as well. Enter the Active Directory password you just received.
3. Press the Submit button.

If your password is not changed before April 15, 2009, you will not be able to
access your account.

If you know your current password, please log in to Outlook Web Access and
change it. The link below provides step-by-step instructions on how to change
your password.

If you do not know your password and would like to request a new one via the
Web, please go to the Web address below and select “Reset Active Directory
Password” (Note: Active Directory is the system that runs your
