GIS Database for Restored Habitat on Corpus Christi Bay
This website provides a coupled system for describing restored shore and habitat sites in Corpus Christi Bay. The interactive Arc IMS (CHRGIS) tool allows the user to visualize changes occuring at a beach over time while the Shore and Habitat Educational Resource provides information to allow the user to better understand the inter-relationships between coastal processes and shoreline change.
University Beach (restored August 2001) was selected as the prototype for website and Arc IMS development. CHRGIS provides visualization of an accessible archive of monitoring data for University Beach (a CEPRA, Cycle 1 project).
