Corpus Christi Beach

has been replenished a total of four times, once in 1978 during which USACE placed 500,000 cubic yards of fine sand and 300,000 cubic yards of coarse sand, a second time in 1985 as well as building a terminal groin at the north end of the beach in order to retain eroded sand, again in 1998, and lastly in 2001.
